What we do

We publish news, explainers and analysis across India, international affairs, politics, business and the economy, technology, science, education, health, sport, the environment, entertainment and lifestyle. Every factual claim in a news report should be traceable to a named source, a primary document, or an on-the-record interview.

How we work

• Verification before publication. A reporter drafts; an editor reviews; a fact checker may be asked to clear specific claims. Publication requires an approval recorded against the article.
• Sources are listed. Articles carry a sources block where the underlying documents, datasets and interviews are listed.
• Corrections are public. When we get something wrong we fix it and record what changed. See our corrections policy.
• AI is disclosed and constrained. Software agents help with research leads, SEO audits and analytics summaries. They cannot publish, approve, or invent quotes and sources. Read our editorial policy for the detail.

How we are funded

ALP News is funded by advertising and sponsorship, clearly labelled wherever it appears. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, and advertisers have no sight of stories before publication. Affiliate links, when used, are disclosed in the article.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom, not by owners, advertisers or political interests. Sponsored content is written and labelled separately and never presented as reporting.
